Every Circle Matters

I saw a video the other day of an artist, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.

She was making tiny circles. One after another. Thousands of them. Maybe millions. As I watched, it honestly didn’t make much sense. It just looked like dot after dot, with no clear picture forming.

And then she pulled back. And suddenly, there it was. Something beautiful.

That moment stayed with me, because it felt so much like life. Those little circles reminded me of the moments we live every day. The things that feel small. Ordinary. Hard. The moments that don’t feel important at all when we’re in them.

The waiting.
The quiet prayers.
The conversations that change us.
The days that feel heavy or unnoticed.
The tears no one else sees.

Each one feels like just a dot. A small piece. Something that doesn’t really matter on its own.

But it does.

I believe God sees every one of those circles. Every moment. Every season. Nothing is wasted with Him.

So often we want to understand the whole picture right away. We want clarity. We want answers. We want to know why things are happening the way they are. But most of the time, we only see what’s right in front of us. Just the circle we’re standing in. God, though, sees the full picture. He’s not surprised. He’s not rushed. He’s not unsure of what He’s doing.

He’s creating something beautiful.

I think sometimes we forget that God does some of His deepest work in the days that look the most ordinary. In the moments that feel small. In the seasons that feel confusing or slow.

Those little circles. They matter.

One day, when we’re able to pull back and look at our lives from a different perspective, I believe we’ll see it. We’ll see how every moment was connected. How every piece had purpose. How God was working even when we couldn’t see it.

If you’re in a season right now where things don’t make sense, where life feels like a bunch of random dots, I just want to remind you of this.

Trust the Artist.

He’s not finished yet.

And when you pull back, it’s going to be beautiful.
