I am so excited about the cover of my new book, “Feel the Rain”. Women Impacting Lives Through Community and Business, and if you have your tickets, you’ll be the first to hold a copy in your hand. I love this cover so much. Those pink boots remind me not only of the breast cancer fighters, but of all of those, their family and friends, who are stepping outside their comfort zone and living in the moment due to a health battle. They are choosing to find that place of joy and savoring each second.
I see this woman standing at the edge of the water, looking out into the unknown, but not hiding under the umbrella. Through my own journey with autoimmune disease, I realize more than ever that every raindrop is precious, and every moment matters. This cover takes me to a place of hope and gives me a feeling of peace, like sitting in a warm chair with a cup of good soup. I picture people snuggling in to read some words that might change their perspective on the day. The journey of getting this book into your hands was so worth it. I can’t wait for you to open the cover and see what’s inside!
