Breathe.

Are you weary? This time of year can magnify those weary places. Take a few moments and pause. When our minds are clouded with responsibilities and checklists, it can get easy to find ourselves far from the things that draw us to our Savior, the real meaning of Christmas. Pause from the hustle and bustle of the rush of the holidays, and breathe. Breathe in His faithfulness. Breathe in the magnitude of His glory. Breathe in the reason for the season. When we pause, it invites us to rest in His unchanging grace. We get to remember how faithful He has been to us in the past and trust He is taking care of us today. Rest and be still knowing He is with you.

God had a plan in mind when He created the world, knowing it would involve the greatest sacrifice, yet He did it anyway. Jesus. Born in a manger, mocked throughout His life and, ultimately, to die on the cross for each one of us.

Christmas is almost here. Breathe, rest, reflect, and know He is above your weariness, your challenge, your pain. Psalms 121: 1, 2
