I love the scripture in Ecclesiastes 3:1: There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.”
There are some seasons we want to cherish forever and other seasons we want to skip all together. Yet every season contributes something valuable to life. We can’t stop or slow down time.
You may be dealing with a child who takes every chance to make wrong decisions. Perhaps you are functioning on no sleep as you care for your little ones. You may be walking through a “broken place in your finances, health, relationships. In fact this season may just feel “broken”, just simply broken. Are you at the end of your rope wanting to hit the fast forward button on this season? Take heart. There’s beauty to be found in today. Look for it. What you see is what you are looking for and I promise if you look for the treasure in every season, you will find it. Even on the toughest days, it’s there if you look hard enough. And you will begin to see those “run for the hills” seasons as teachable moments that really were life changing to help you move forward.
Whatever season you’re in, God is working it all out for good.
Right here, right now, you can prosper. Whatever season of life you are currently in, commit to enjoying this phase while you have it because time is fleeting, and once that moment is gone, you never get it back.
