Perspective. We can look at the sudden, unwanted turns in our lives as annoying interruptions and let them tear us apart, or we can see them as divine interventions. Often these are strategic times when God puts a “holy hold” on our plans and asks us to see them as blessings rather than curses. Many times they are put in our path to help us reach the things we have been praying for all along.
Those divine interventions can take us out of our comfort zone and show us that God’s handprints are on both the big and small things in our lives. Even those hurt feelings of rejection can be a divine interruption. What if God was protecting you from people who were not assigned to your purpose or destiny? What if God saw hearts and motives, and was aligning your destiny with those who would pour love, prayer, support, and direction into you? In this process, He separates out those who have wrong motives or intentions for your life. Though your season may seem painful and full of questions and detours, this divine disruption may be just the very thing that becomes one of your biggest answers to prayer. He’s got this. Hang on.
